🛕 Pandavarkavu Devi Temple
One of the oldest temples in erstwhile Travancore. Goddess Durga installed by Kunti Devi, mother of Pandavas. Famous for Kadalipazham offering, Pandavarkavu Kulam (pond) and the huge Kanjira tree behind the temple. Padayani Mahotsavam is a major festival. Part of Swadesh Darshan Pandava Temples circuit. Sub-deities: Ganapathy, Dharmasastha (Ayyappan), Khandakarnan, Nagar deities, Yakshiyamma.

Rajiv Gandhi Combined Cycle Power Plant (NTPC) at Choolatheruvu - The first thermal power plant in Kerala. Major industrial landmark, employment hub, and symbol of Muthukulam's modern development. Choolatheruvu is also Ward 1 of Muthukulam Grama Panchayat.
